DBAT is one of Canada’s oldest organizations for Deaf-Blind persons. It has a strong membership with many activities and meetings held throughout the year.
Activities include: Valentine & Christmas parties, June BBQ, Craft Workshops, games nights, and workshops with special speakers.
There is a monthly newsletter to members. Volunteer Drivers and Intervenors are provided whenever possible. The membership is about 35 Deaf-Blind and 20 volunteer paid members, plus students from the George Brown College Intervenor Training Program.
